Enneagram Coaching

What is the goal of Enneagram Coaching?

  • "To help clients to see themselves with astonishing clarity, so they can break free from self-condemnation, fear, and shame by knowing and experiencing the unconditional love, forgiveness, and freedom in Christ."                         -Your Enneagram Coach's Mission Statement

  • To point clients to the hope and truth of the Gospel. The Enneagram is a powerful tool in recognizing self-limiting behaviors and accelerating growth, but it will only bring lasting transformation when viewed through the lens of the Gospel. (Clients must first recognize that only through Christ and His life, death and resurrection, can they create and sustain meaningful and healthy relationships. If they try to do it in their own strength, they will always come up short.)

How can Enneagram coaching help?

  • Enneagram coaches help clients become more self-aware, so they can steer clear of common pitfalls and instead use new tools and understanding to course-correct their inner world onto their healthiest path. This awareness and knowledge will greatly benefit their lives and their relationships with others.

  • By discovering their main Enneagram Type, clients can experience deep understanding and transformation at an accelerated pace.

How is it different from seeing a therapist or counselor?

  • Enneagram coaching is future-oriented. It helps clients discover their personality hardwiring, explore why they think, feel, and behave in particular ways, and become the healthiest version of themselves moving forward. Therapy often looks to a client's past and brings therapeutic techniques to assist in the healing process of past events, wounds, and traumas.

  • Coaches can help the client make observations and gain insight from their past but the primary focus is on their progress and personal growth.

Why is Enneagram coaching important?

  • An Enneagram coach provides a unique value to clients by helping them understand why they think, feel, and behave in particular ways, and helping them navigate toward their healthiest path.

  • Using the Enneagram from a gospel-centered perspective, coaches bring the whole Gospel to the whole person by helping their clients know who they are and Whose they are.

What is the Process?

  • Our Enneagram coaching uses a three-step process. Discover, Explore, Become. Each step has intentional goals and methods. The first step assists clients in discovering the Enneagram and their main Type. The second step guides the client in exploring their type on a deeper and more profound level, accelerating their transformation. The third step helps the client use all the foundational knowledge about the Enneagram and their type, becoming their healthiest and truest self in Christ.
